icon

If you want to participate in decision-making in theonchainaustria DAO, you need to hold OCA tokens in your wallet, as it is the governance token of the DAO. You can obtain OCA tokens through a potential airdrop (stake ETH with ushere), by submitting a proposal that includes a token allocation and receives a positive vote (read below), or by purchasing BOCK tokens on theopen marketand converting them to OCA tokens through theunwrapprocess.

1 Convert BOCK to OCA

  1. Visit: Unwrap BOCK to OCA.
  2. This conversion can be reversed at any time.

2 Activate Voting Rights

  1. To participate in DAO voting, you must delegate your OCA tokens.
  2. Do this here: Tally: onchainaustria DAO.
  3. Welcome to onchainaustria DAO!

3 Creating Proposals

  1. If you want to submit a proposal, please discuss it in our Discord channel
    #dao
    before submission.
  2. You need at least 10,000 OCA to submit a proposal. You can acquire them by buying BOCK tokens (as described here) and unwrapping them here. Alternatively, ask an existing member to submit a proposal on your behalf in the Discord channel.
  3. Proposals can be purely textual or trigger a reallocation of OCA tokens (Rebase Event). You can specify your own address for allocation. If the proposal is approved, the allocation will be executed automatically.

4 Adding Token Allocation

  1. Go to New Proposal and sign with your wallet.
  2. Click +Add Action, select Custom Action, and enter the token contract: 0x6BBd25ce17302A626EdF9cfeED6fb0B3ce2ffc47
  3. Keep Use imported ABI enabled and select rebase under Contract Method.
  4. Enter your own address under Account and specify the desired number of OCA tokens (remember to add 18 zeros, as no decimal places are allowed).
  5. Name your proposal and provide a meaningful description.
  6. Click Publish to submit your proposal.

5 Voting on a Proposal

  1. To vote, you must delegate your OCA tokens to yourself.
  2. Only then will they be converted into Voting Power.
  3. Note: Voting Power is determined at the time a proposal is published. Retroactive delegation will not affect already published proposals.
Enjoy participating in the onchainaustria DAO!
